If one starts with the root note, the scale will also start with the key of C, accordingly one has to start now with 8th fret. The minor pentatonic scale which includes one flat, three, four, five, flat seven, one. This is a scale of 5 notes in total. In the key of C, it starts from 8th fret and includes C, Eb, F, G, Bb, C. This scale is very famous in blues music.

Blues music is very rich genre of music on guitar compared to other string instruments like violin, viola, cello. This genre of music was evolved from deep feelings of people so we feel that the songs of blues music are directly connecting to our lives. We all have faced some or the other struggle in our lives, blues music is the expression of deepness one has felt throughout his/her life.
