Urine tests are a popular alternative. They are easier to administer than blood tests, although they do still require specialist equipment, this is generally limited to a specimen cup. They can be administered by staff members at the company, or by an external company. Although specimen cups that are specifically designed to be used for drug testing in a school or work environment are supposedly tampered proof, there are more ways around a urine test than with a blood test. However, the most common type of drug test is the hair follicle test.
